Beschreibung:

Religious identity and religious tolerance are pressing issues in a plural society shaped by religious diversity such as Indonesia. The imperative of coexistence in plural societies does not entail the negligence of religious identity. Examining the relationship between religious identity and religious tolerance empirically is of necessity to understand the role of religion in plural societies. This book is the result of the empirical research among the Catholic Student respondents in Secondary Schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The empirical findings of this research serve to bear out the conjunctive thesis dealing with the relationship between religious identity and religious tolerance.
